Simple Chicken Biryani for Beginners

 



  How to make Chicken Biryani?

For all food lovers, Chicken Biryani is a finger linking combo that everybody aches you. It is a rice dish made with chicken , rice and aromatic spices. Making this biryani on dum enhances the flavor and aroma of this rice dish. This biryani recipe is specially for beginners and and can be made easily at home. Ingredients Required

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tbsp. or to taste
  • salt 1/2 tbsp. or to taste
  • Coriander Powder 1 tbsp.
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp.
  • Green chili chopped 4-5
  • onion sliced 1 large
  • Mint leaves chopped 2 tbsp.
  • Fresh coriander chopped 2 tbsp.
  • Onion fried 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp.
  • Water 2 & 1/2 liters
  • Cinnamon stick 1
  • Cloves 4-5
  • Black peppercorns 1/2 tsp
  • Green cardamom 2
  • Star anis (Badiyan ka phool) 1
  • Bay Leaves (Taiz pata) 2
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp.
  • Rice 500 g soaked for 30 minutes
  • Cooking oil 5-6 tbsp.
  • Cumin seed 1tbsp.
  • Fresh coriander
  • Mint Leaves
  • Onion Fried
  • Yellow food color 1/2tsp
  • Water 2-3tbsp.

Cooking Method

  1. In a bowl add chicken, yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste , green bean chili , onion, mint, new coriander, broiled onion, lemon juice and blend well. Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pot add water, cinnamon stick, clove, black pepper corns, green cardamom, star anis, sound leaves, salt, vinegar and carry it to bubble.
  3. Add rice and let it cook until ¾ done (approx. 8-10 minutes). Strain and put away.
  4. In a pot add cooking oil, cumin seeds, marinated chicken and pan fried food for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Cover and cook on low fire for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Eliminate the top and cook on high fire until oil isolates. Presently switch the fire off.
  7. Take half measure of korma in a dish and save it for sometime in the later use.
  8. Presently add and spread half measure of bubbled rice, held korma, new coriander, mint, broiled onion, staying bubbled rice.
  9. Break down Orange food variety in water and include it. Cover and steam cook on low fire for 8-10 minutes.
  10. Blend and serve!
